The Passing of a Warrior
Honoring the Life of Robert Dale Wood
With a heavy heart, I share the passing of my father, Robert Dale Wood. A Green Beret who served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1971, he was larger than life in every way—his presence filled a room, his stories held you captive, and his strength, both physical and mentally, was unmatched.
He lived with the kind of grit and determination that defined his generation. A warrior, a protector, and a man who never backed down from a challenge, whether on the battlefield or in life. He was the embodiment of resilience, and quiet sacrifice, lessons he passed down to all who knew him.
Rest easy, Dad. Your mission is complete, but your legacy lives on.
