I am a “Free Range” (private citizen) advocate for the Military Community. This includes Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, Veterans, their Families, and most importantly to me the Surviving Spouses and Dependants. The community includes all eras and branches of the Military, all genders, religions, sexual preferences, and political persuasions.

We need a few representatives who are not “beholden” to any of the large organizations. Don’t get me wrong, they do great work, but they are bound by the will of the board of the non-profit, the rules of lobbying, or some political party. Representation of the Military community should not be limited to Lobbyist Firms, Organizations with offices in, or those that live in the DC area.

I hope to continue to be a “Free Range” Legislative Advocate and “walk the halls” of Congress to educate on the needs of the community and to remind our elected officials of their moral obligation to our community. As a “Free Range” Legislative Advocate, I will not be beholden to any of the Veteran Service Organizations, Nonprofit boards…etc. I will be free to speak my mind in a polite and nonpartisan way. I also want to educate the community on how to become “Free-Range” Advocates themselves. Together we can do good things!
